Hello!

How can i permanently disable the Software Update function in Avast (I really don’t want to use this function)? It stops when I click on Stop, but at the next computer boot the feature is running again. So, how can I disable it permanently?

Another question - in Avast 7 I was able to see all the info on status (shields, virus database version, program version etc.), now all I can see is Secures - all shileds active, everything up-to-date. Is there a way to see deeper into that as in v7?

Other than that I think I like the new GUI more than the old one. :slight_smile:

Remove it in the usual way, Programs and features > select Avast > then Uninstall/Change, when the new window opens, click Change, click the Next button and deselect the Software Updater function.
