I had to re-install Avast Free and now it won’t let my mp3 player start.
I look under Global Exclusions and type the path to the player in there and hit ADD | OK then try to play a file and the player stops and closes.
If I disable Avast the player works fine, so clearly it’s Avast Stopping it. Where else should I be adding the path to the player so it will run? I went through this before with version 7 and now here we are again!! Ugggh
What to do?

Solved the problem by adding the folder where the player resides to the Behavior Shield, now it starts and runs properly.
