Hello, I use Avast antivirusand have performed 34 scans. The app shows these scans in its statistics, but when I log into my account on the website, it shows zero scans and prompts me to perform my first scan. What should I do?
The connection between your client AV app and your on-line Avast account, is sloppy, and might never sync.
(for example, right now, because of sloppy GUI programming, I cannot see the right half of what I am typing because there is a n unmovable & obscuring panel covering this text entry field.)
. If you have a paid account, you might try Avast Technical Support, which is sometimes helpful since they are more likely to have seen this problem, than community members who have their own problems & reasons for coming here.
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member and I use Avast Antivirus Free.
I’m not even sure if the scan data would be stored in your Account, I believe it is only stored locally on your computer AvastUI > Menu > Settings > Protection > Virus Scans > Scan History.
As you can see my Scan History is Zero - Personally with an on-access antivirus scanner the need for on-demand is greatly depreciated. If a file is Active (Opened/Run, etc.) then it is going to scanned by the on-access scanner.
