avast! activation in the light of other AV

I’ve installed avast, but at power up it detect some files from previous anti-virus as follows:
"Incompatible AV software running: avast! detected that the following program is running: Kaspersky Anti-Virus. The on-access scanner module… As a result, the avast! main … Standart Shield, P2P shield and instant Messaging shield - were disabled "

IMHO I’ve removed all kaspersky files.

Please help to overide it and activate avast!

You’ll need one of those, according to which Kaspersky product you were using:
KAV_Registry_Clean.zip KAV 5.x removal utility
KAV_Rem.zip KAV 4.5x removal utilty
KAH_Rem.zip AntiHacker removal utilty
