Avast add-in that slows Outlook opening

Hi, I noticed that Outlook communicates to me, via popup when I open it, that the Avast add-in slows the opening, sometimes even up to 1.30 seconds.
This slowdown obviously is not very impactful, because I don’t even notice it, but the warning popup is annoying. I can silence the popup every 30 days, but it’s still annoying.
Can’t Avast fix it somehow? Why does the add-in slow down Outlook opening?
I assume this Avast add-on component is the email protection component, which I cannot disable anyway.

It is the message that is present in Outlook if you go into the options and then add-ins that create slowdown. It is the Outlook 2019 version. As soon as I manage to retrieve the file, I enter the ID of the report.

Hi,

I did not get this message from Outlook so it is probably just on your side. Could you try to remove the add-in from outlook and then re-add it?
(File > Options > Add-ins > Go) make sure that you run Outlook as admin.

How can I reinsert the Avast add-on?

Could it also depend on the characteristics of the PC that is a few years old?

To reinsert: Open Outlook as admin > File > Options > Add-ins > Go> look in [b]C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast[/b] and add asOUTEXT.dll
It is the Avast Antispam add-in so you actually do not have to re-install it.
