Hello,
I just updated our Avast Endpoint Protection Suite to the latest version (v1.3.3.112).
The update was succesfull but the Avast Administration Console was not available and I could not log in to it using my browser.
I checked and these services were not running:
- avast! Administration Console
- avast! Administration Console Website Host
Starting these services both came up with an error: “Access denied”. Checking the LogOn-tab of the services-window I saw that the services were set up to be started under the account “Network Service”. I changed both services to be started under “Local System account”.
This is not the first time I had to do this. After updating to our previous version this was also the case, so I thought I’ld better report it here.
Please fix this in the next update.
