Avast ADNM / Managed Clients in different subnets

Hello,

I have some problems regarding our new Aavast ADNM installation. Up
until now we had ADNM running on a virtual machine on one of our subnets
to protect our internet clients.

As we are now moving our newspaper-production from Macs to PCs we want
to protect that subnet with Avast, too.

Both subnets are connected via an Astaro Security Gateway.
Subnet one is 192.168.xxx.0/255.255.255.0, subnet two is
172.16.xxx.0/255.255.0.0.

The new ADNM-Server is located in subnet two. According to one of Viks
forum-posts the following ports have been allowed in the Astaro:

tcp 16111,5033,16102,16109,16108,135,139,445
udp 6000, 137, 138

The main problem is, that a test-pc from subnet one can fetch updates
from the server in subnet two, but i cannot see any information about
that client in the ADNM-Console. I had to add it manually to the catalog
too, discovery shows up only the clients from subnet two. As far as i
understood clients with the agent installed should show up in the
console automatically even if they are located in different subnets?
I also cannot start any tasks on that test-client remotely from ADNM.

A second problem is that i get constant security warnings from Windows
XP on the server, that Avast reported it has been disabled, but the tray
icon shows that 6 of 7 providers are running.

The server is running under Windows XP Pro SP3, i use MS-SQL-Server 2005
Express because the MSDE shipped with the Avast-Installer didn’t install.

ADNM-Version is Dec.2008 4.8.948, Avast-Version is 4.7.820, VPS 090122-0

Thanks in advance for your help.
