How do I stop those annoying Avast ads popping up almost daily on my PC
What Avast program ?
Free or Paid version ?
Is it after running a scan ?
With free it is pretty much the cost of free.
I have been using Avast Free for Windows (not Avast One) for over 17 years and I don’t see that many avast ads, I guess I have a higher pain threshold. Or it could be in that in the early period you might get more.
It’s paid Avast Premium Security due for renewal in June. They are already trying to get me to renew early and/or upgrade. If they keep it up, I won’t renew at all.
Have you checked the settings in the UI > Menu > Settings > General > Personal Privacy ?
They are limited for free users but you should have more options.

Even in the Free version I leave the Share Threat Data with Avast enabled.
I guess it can help with emerging threats.

As I mentioned in Reply #3, I guess not.
Unticked all the Personal Privacy items.
The ad still persists.
I would suggest that you restart your system to ensure changes are applied.
Even in Avast Free I don’t get this Screen when I open the UI.
When is it that you are getting this (after a scan or when you open the UI), as I can’t see why the main UI window would also open and the ad ?
It always comes after a system startup and after a certain operating time. I usually have my computer on at the weekend and have this offer display on the screen at least once a day. Also had everything turned off as described above and it still comes.
