avast aint free now???

i had half a year of free subscription left then updated and boom subscripition expired, when you click renew it only shows you the “free” versions that you HAVE TO PAY FOR. where is the old free version?? if i dont renew i wont have spam shield, file system shield, network shield, fire wall, real time scanning, or anything except the choice to scan. this iisnt a free antivirus its a free demo. ive been using avast for 3 years and i loved it for its honest people and how well the antivirus worked but if you do this im going back to mcaffe… MAKE IT FREE AGAIN i am afraid to browse the internet until i get paid now, this aint woarth loyalty

the free is free… you only have to register

  1. Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

thats the one i have, more people are having this problem, its not just me.

A clean reinstall should fix it. Or use the latest beta (1485).
