I’m sorry to insist, but Chrome has blocked Avast Online Security again.
I have no problem with Firefox

Dev-Info: All our Chrome extensions were recently taken down what caused that the extensions were automatically disabled on user side putting there the warning message in extension options in Chrome. This was recently resolved with Google and both extension (Avast SafePrice/AOS) are back in store. It takes some hours to get autoactivated again.

The Avast Online Security extension is available again in the store, but my installed copy still has a big "This extension violates the Chrome Web Store policy." plastered across it, and Chrome keeps disabling it.
I had a somewhat similar experience yesterday but the message cleared after re-installing AOS (probably unnecessarily) and then re-starting Chrome. The Avast extension is currently installed on my copy of Chrome and there is now no message.
Fun, fun: I’m now seeing what you are seeing. I started Chrome (which was happy yesterday) and left it for a bit tonight and there was the message again! I then closed Chrome and restarted it, and initially got no message. Left it a bit longer (as you did) - about 5 minutes - and hello message!
Whatever is happening doesn’t look to me to be a problem with our systems. I suspect an issue at Google that Avast might want to mention to them.
we worked together with Mozilla and Google to get the extensions re-published. Now we have the extensions live again in both browsers. We also introduced a new Privacy Policy providing more detail about what data we collect and how we process it.
I just search and found there are 2 Avast extensions including Avast SafePrice and Avast Online Security. Which extension was removed from Chrome Web Store ?
