Avast and Flash Player Problems

Hi, I recently installed the newest version of Avast Free. After I installed it, Flash Player stopped working in all my browsers. There is nothing I know how to do to reenable it. It’s acting as if Flash was never installed. So I attempted to reinstall Flash three times, and although it installed successfully, same end result. Any help?

OS: Win 8.1 (up to date)
System stats: 12GB RAM, 1TB Hybrid Disk, Intel i7 3537U
Latest versions of all software.

Do a repair of avast via add/remove. If it still doesn’t work, uninstall flash player and do a clean install of avast.

  1. Uninstall Avast via add/remove. Follow instructions.
  2. Download and run the avast uninstall utility. It will ask you if you want this tool to run your computer automatically in safe mode. Click yes on both. Follow instructions.
  3. Install a fresh new copy of avast. Once installed it will run a quick start up scan. Once done, restart your computer manually.
  4. Register your copy of avast.

After that re-install flash player
