Avast and flash plugin under firefox/IE

Hi !

I use a webmailer named flashmail that is standard by my provider ( club-internet.fr = t-online in France).
The problem is that until I installed the flash plugin it worked properly with AVAST. Once i installed the flash pluggin there is an advertisement in the header of the page and the page stays blank. It is impossible to use it properly. I have do stop avast to be able to read my mails, which i of course don’t like.

I wrote Club-Internet and they say that it use to work with previous versions of AVAST and that they don’t know why it doesn’t work now. (problem is registered by them as [382572-1113991959] reference.

AVAST is 4.5 latest virus definition
Firefox is 1.02 / IE is 6.0 zith latest security patch
flash plugin is 7.0.19.0 for Firefox / 7.0 for IE

Does anyone have a clue about the problem. Any workaround ?

Hi Bill, why don’t you update to the newest version (4.6.652) and see if that solves your problem?

AVAST is 4.5 latest virus definition
Latest avast version is 4.6.652, first do a manual program update and check again.

I have no problem with the flash plugin for firefox 1.0.3

Oops my mistake ! AVAST is 4.6 official release, sorry my finger shifted while tapping…
