It started in early January i think avast was constantly crashing and Gameguard protected game it was like that for 2 week or so then came patch for gameguard (and avast i think) and everything was cool for a week then avast wanted to update to 5.1.889 and the crashes came back.Tried everything with Trusted Proceses and Exclusions but nothing works 3 weeks after patch and no fix for it tryed reinstalling game , gameguard and even avast but i still isint working.Any info for fix ?
Well you could either try:
a) uninstalling the Behaviour Shield module (disable isn’t enough) - From Control Panel, windows Add Remove Programs (or Uninstall a Program), Avast, Change/Remove, select Change and uncheck the Behaviour Shield option, click Next and OK your way out, reboot and that should allow you to use the AOL software. See image, whilst this is for XP the process is the same for other OSes.
or
b) the avast 6.0.945 beta build and see if it is resolved in that (as 5.1.889 is the last build of avast 5.1 before avast 6.0 is released). This will require a clean reinstall of the beta version, http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=70655.0 for instructions and download locations.
Edit: typo, beta build number.
I don’t know there would be a conflict between GameGuard and the latest avast 6 beta build.
Please check the latest beta and if it doesn’t help, let me know game name and operation system you’re using.
Thanks.
The game name is SDGO TW version http://sd.wasabii.com.tw/index.aspx and im running on WinXp sp3 i will try the beta bulid soon and update how it worked.
