Avast and Itunes

Hi

a friend of mine is using Avast Home Edition an has recently bought an ipod shuffle. Now when I tried to install the Itunes-Software necessary to be able to copy any music onto the Ipod I’m having troubles. The installation process ends fine and doesn’t give an error-message. However when I start the Itunes program I get the silly message that it doesn’t work and whether I want to send a report to Microsoft! Has anyone any experience with this?
The PC works on WindowsXP home edition and has got the latest service pack installed.

Check the system and application log to see what the error is.
