My PC is so slow these days that am thinking of scanning it with Kaspersky but l do not know if it is compatible with Avast. can someone tell me thanks.
No. It’s not compatible. You can use the on-line version of Kaspersky that is compatible with any other antivirus.

Did you try to scan your computer with antispywares (like AVGas, a-squared, SpywareTerminator, SUPERAntispyware…)?
HI Tech, Yes l did scan my PC with AVG and the result was very good but my PC has gotten so slow of late l do not know if it is a virus or all the upgrading that has eaten up the resources thereby making it so slow.
I deleted some memory files that were affected by Trojan could this be the cause
If you still detecting strange behaviors or you want to be sure you’re clean, maybe making a HijackThis log to post here and, specially, scan and submit to on-line analysis the RunScanner log would help to identify the problem and the solution.
