Avast and Malwarebytes 3.0

I would like to know your opinion, Avast users.

  1. Malwarebytes 3.0 is being announced as a replacement for our “old” antivirus software. Should we consider to uninstall Malwarebytes, since it is not advisable to run two antivirus together?

  2. I would like to hear about your experience with this new version of Malwarebytes. Does it slow down your computer? Any conflict with Avast?

Your comments are welcome.

Malwarebytes Pro will function with other AV’s but you will need to exclude from one another.

Yes at this moment Malwarebytes is still memory hungry and could slow down your system, it’s a known issue and hopefully fixed in the next release end of January.

All discussed in the link Pondus has placed.

Thank you very much for your input. I have been a user of MBAM Pro for a long time, but after installing this new version, I noticed an impact on my PC performance. So I decided to install the Free version by now.

Best regards!
