I currently use Avast Internet Security alongside Mamutu.
Is this overkill as Avast has a behaviour blocker built in, or am I okay using the two together?
Thanks

I’m not sure.
They can conflict since Mamutu uses Behaviour blocking and avast! have a Behaviour Shield.
But they also can work well with each other.
So my recommendation is: stick with both for an experimental time. If you start to see some anomalies then you have to think in disable one. (avast! behaviour shield or Mamutu)
Avast!'s Behavior Shield is showing more activity with new versions, but it might still be a stretch to call it “robust” or “very effective”. It is probably not redundant yet to run both at once. So if it gives you no problems, I would say go for it.
I would suggest u to uninstall mamutu
avast is enough 8)

I never saw that many reasons to use Mamutu side by side with avast.
Yes, I do not like overkilled computers
Thank you all.
I’ve decided to uninstall Mamutu and run with Avast’s behaviour shield, especially as it’s being improved for the next major version. Just for info, whenever Mamutu detected any suspicious behaviour, Avast did too!!!
That’s one of the reasons I’ve said overkilling…
