I recently downloaded a trial version of Microsoft All-in-One cleaner. Now, I can’t get Avast to come up. Do this programs not play well together? Avast was my main virus protection. Am I going to have to uninstall the cleaner to keep Avast?
I have not heard of Microsoft all in one cleaner.Do you mean Microsoft One Care. You cannot run two anti virus products as they will conflict with each other.
One care is ineed a program that comes along most top end HP computers , it is also buyable. But Something that is named Microsoft all in one cleaner seems like a fake program. It may have disabled avast to do its malware like deeds.
I thought it was Microsoft, but I looked again when neither of you had heard of it. The about screen says that it is put out by YL Computing, Inc. xp-tools.com
Does that help any?
They are the makers of WinUtilities, a Keylogger and Cleansing Solutions,
