I can’t use Thunderbird configuraterd with the configuration suggested in the help of avast. I use virgilio as serever mail, I have configurated pop and smtp as in.virgilio.it and outviglio.it, how con i do?

Setup your mail as your ISP instructs you. Then run the mail protection wizzard. Let’s see if that works.
what is the ISP? and where is the mail protection wizard? the avast help suggest me to put # and the pop and # and the smtp, you suggest me not to do this?

ISP = Internet Service Provider, the one that makes it possible for you to connect to the internet and provides you with a email address.
Mail Wizzard, is in your start menu under Avast.

Just manke sure that outlook express is not running. Then start the Mail Protection Wizzard and let it make all the changes for you.
