Can Avast free personal edition be blocking my favorite game via MSN games,Degree Texas Holdem. I have popup blocker off in Windows XP. Would appreciate anyones help as to what my setting should be and or what I can do. Miss my game!!! :

avast! like all AntiVirus programs scans it doesn’t block. However, your Firewall might be blocking MSN Games or,
if you use a router, you may have to allow the proper port. There are also many other programs that are candidates and
could be blocking you.
All of these are just assumptions since I don’t know your system and you haven’t supplied us with enough information.
Please let us know what security programs are running on your system.
If you’ve gotten any error messages, they would also be of help.
The more information you supply, the more likely we’ll be able to point you to your problem.
Had been using Avast approximately, one week and playing games on msn. Did not realize I had to manually hit scan button and picked up win32sdbot-ge. Avast caught it and put it in chest. Now holdem game does not work?Have cable provider,ip phone router(SunRocket),and shared wireless router (Netgear?) Would need instruction to check ports etc. I don’t know what is relevant here. Ran virus scan again(thourough)on updated Avast and show no virus???Thanks for your help. To work now. Will check messages. Again in couple hours. Thanyou so much.Janaki ;)P. S. I did not quite understand internet extensions and thought perhaps Avast was protecting me from harmful site. lol.
