I have been using Avast Free with no problems whatsoever for over 3 years.
After last updates, avast and mysqld.exe consume a lot of RAM, up to 90% and I had to uninstall it.
Anyway I can fix it?

Is the ram usage of avast normal if you disable the MySql deamon ?
