How many are supposed to work with the free version?
8
Four aren’t working.
IM Shield
P2p Shield
Mail Shield
Behavior Shield
Why do you think so…??
Most probably they just haven’t anything to scan (at the moment)…
Thanks.
You’re welcome.
Hi -midnight!
At first I thought like you. But then I took a look a t the history of Mail- and Behavior Shield. If you do the same, you’ll see, that there was something to scan.
Concerning the first 2 (IM and P2P), that’s like Asyn told you (no work).

are you using a IM program?
are you ising a P2P program?
are you using a mailprogram?
if no…then dont expect to see any activity in those shields
I use MSN Messenger, not using any P2P program and have no mail program…only web mail. I would think the Behavior Shield should work.

The Behavior Shield is working right now.
The Mail Shield does not work with Web Mail. It only works when you receive your mail through Email applications like Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Outlook and the old Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc. If you actually go to the website for your web based mail account (Gmail, GMX, Hotmail, etc.), the Mail Shield does nothing. If you have no IM or P2P programs installed, those shields will also do nothing.

Thank you for your reply.
I have Windows Live Messenger but no P2P and use web mail. I have an email address through my ISP but it isn’t pop mail.
