The Tea timer is like the residen shield of Spybot which perpetually monitors the processes called/initiated. It immediately detects known malicious processes wanting to start and terminates them giving you some options how to deal with this process in the future: You can set TeaTimer to:
In addition, TeaTimer detects, when something wants to change some critical registry keys. TeaTimer can protect you against such changes again giving you an option: You can either “Allow” or “Deny” the change. As TeaTimer is always running in the background, it takes some resources of about 5 MB.
The script blocker, block script based viruses or malware or dangerous scripts. I dont know if they interfer with each other.
No… TeaTimer is an adware monitor (startup items basically).
avast is a full antivirus. avast script blocker caught infected scripts running (starting) in your machine.
No, in fact they will do a great job togheter 8)
I use WinPatrol to monitor my computer if anything changes. Teatimer and Script Blocker won’t interfere, don’t see why. I don’t think Tea Timer needs 5 Mb now these days, Teatimer took nearly 6.8 Mb from my RAM so I disable it.
