Avast and Thunderbird HELP

Hello,

I have installed Thunderbird and made 6 email accounts. I can receive emails, but when I want to reply, or to send an email from one of the accounts, I have the message: Delivering email.

After a while the next message appears: “An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: heartofgold.neobee.net (neobee.net is my ISP). Unexpected failure, please try later - closing connection… Please check the message and try again.”

I had a lot of pain coming to this point, because, before this, I could not send an email at all(got message that connection to my smtp was interrupted in the middle of sending).

Any help with this problem, PLEASE! ???

The Mail Shield may not scan some e-mails - avast! 5.x: SSL Problems The Mail Shield may not scan some e-mails - see http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=458. Whilst this mentions avast5 it is also applicable for avast6.

I don’t know if this is related but you should check it out.
