I have installed Avast Netclient and Thunderbird on several PC that don’t receive mails. Thunderbird use port 995 for POP service so I add 995 to redirect port in Internet Mail provider settings of Resident protection. This is cause Thunderbird not to receive email. If I elimate port redirection 995 then mail are correctly received, but I think it because avast doesn’t scan incoming emails in this case. Anybody has a solution to this problem ?

I have redirected the POP port to 1110, 1120, 11110 and now it works fine without any other change ???!?!?!?
Does any body have and explaination ?
