OK could you reboot the computer and repeatedly press F8 then on the menu that appears select boot normally

There was a ‘start windows normally’ and a ‘reboot’ I tried both; neither worked…

Could you run a fresh FRST scan please, as at the moment I can see no reason for this

I've still got the usb keyboard hooked up, I remember you seemed concerned about that. Anyways here is the new log...

Do you need the USB keyboard ?

Download the attached fixlist to the same location as FRST
Start FRST as before
Press fix
On completion reboot to normal windows

Fix ran for 2 sec. , restarted it....same as before. Went to f8 tried 'start windows normally' same as before...here is the log

Could you unplug the USB keyboard and let me know if that helps

I forgot to undo the changes to the boot order, just so you know I spilled a bit of water on it like 6 months ago thats why I got the usb keyboard as all of the keys no longer work. It worked fine for many months, but now that I think about it it was shortly after I hooked up the usb kb that the problems started. It also has a wireless usb mouse. I rebooted again after undoing the boot changes we are still stuck in safe mode,

Do you have a different USB port to plug the keyboard into ?

Yes I had it in the top one in the back there is also one on the side, mouse is in the bottom back…

Try a different USB port as the water may have affected them

Okay, do you mean both or just the kb?

I noticed there alot of options on the F8 menu including a debugging mode, safe mode with networking and command prompt. Would the command prompt allow us to select Robert or Admin to start up?

Just the keyboard initially

You could try debugging that may give an indication as to where the problem is

Sadly it didn’t work… went straight to our problem screen again…

Seems to me ever since we did that avast uninstall and accepted that reboot to safe mode, it won’t boot any other way. Is it possible to run that again and not accept?

Yes you could download it to the Reatogo desktop and run it from there

Very strange it said I needed windows xp2 or higher…

Download the uninstall utility and run it from the usb command prompt

Not sure how to do that, I have Avastclear on the usb flash drive…
