Hi everybody 
I have tested the free edition of avast with windows 8 pro build 9200 on ASUS P50ij,but i got black screen after restarting --tested 4 times, the same error–.
Any help please ?

Avast 8 Public Beta does not support Windows 8. This was stated with the original post of Beta and has been reaffirmed several times in the Beta Topic.
There are threads already reporting the problems with Windows 8 and Avast, please use the search function.

As stated above the new Avast version 8 is not yet compatible with Windows 8, believe me, we’re all waiting too.
Just use Windows Defender and Malwarebytes just now and you should be ok.

well ya i have had the same problem i tried even avast premium 30 day trial and same problem i think there is a major problem with avast just wait for 6 month when they will start loosing costumer s they will do something ,i am just angry and i want to use avast whats the point when there is problem they should release new avast only then i think the problem will be solved
