Avast Anti-Phishing display blocks volume in youtube

Hello, did a quick search of the threads…

Avast’s anti-phishing module is sort of handy… I guess. I have two concerns though:

  1. Watching a full screen youtube.com video shows me the url in the lower left… which BLOCKS the sound controls. Not fun.
  2. Instead of green check marking all of the links on a site (makes slashdot.org look stupid, blocks characters) why not just mark the bad links and not mark the good ones?

This is a known issue with MS (not Avast). You can search it on many of the geek/tech forums and see for yourself. There supposedly is a fix-it from MS for it; some say it works while others say it doesn’t. I guess it can’t hurt to try.
