Avast Anti Thief Where go the Audio files on Smarphone

Hello,

I’m French and i’m english si so bad… Sorry.

The last version (before Avast Mobile Security) of Anti Thief does not work anymore… normal ?

In the last version of Anti Thief the Audio Files goes to the racine in the storage of the smartphone with a name : ec55564331.mp4
Now, if i don’t use a storage on google drive where the audio file goes ??? I can not find them…

mp4 is not a audio format but a video format.

AT only will work if you have the paid version of AMS.

Sorry but where i do a record audio on the last Version of Anti Thief i have for result a MP4 Files with a name like this : ee443c70-ae9c-11e7-b396-c7a1ac40c142.mp4
This file is on the storage of the phone.

Now with the new version of AMS (in Paid version). I don’t find Audio file on my phone…

Hi, the .mp4 can be an audio file, not an exclusively video format.

Because of some complaints from users we hid the audio files, so that they cannot be found in the mobile device. You can download the recordings from your My Avast account:

log in to your My Avast Account
click on the device
click on “Info”
click on “Commands”"
right there you will see the recording command
click the “arrow” on the end of the row and file will be downloaded

Just remember, that the recordings are stored in My Avast account only temporarily (30 days). Therefore we recommend to link the app to your Google account, where you can store them for unlimited period.

What is exactly the procedure to link the app to one’s Google account?

open AMS
go to the Anti-Theft section
look there for “Cloud storage for Camera Trap and Recordings”
select the Cloud storage (Google Drive)
pick the corresponding Google Account
that’s it - photos and recordings will now go to your Google Drive
