Hello,
It appears we have stumped avast! technical support for the time being (they haven’t gotten back to us for several days now), so I am hoping the forums will provide a different perspective to our problem.
Server Version: Windows 2008 R2
Avast Endpoint Protection Plus Suite Program Client version: 7.0.1455
Virus definitions version: 121119-1
Small Office Administration Console Program Version: 1.2.2.28
Database Version: 1450
Currently, any blacklist item we add (or currently have) to the list in the Antispam Shield in the console does not get marked as SPAM by avast! We are using recommended settings provided by avast! technical support and everything is still going through.
Furthermore, I was informed any settings on the console will propagate to the managed client on the server. I found this not to be the case, as blacklist and whitelist items on the client were inconsistent with what is in the console until you manually save the settings on the console.
I don’t know what additional information I can provide that will be helpful, but please let me know. Are there any currently known bugs or exploits that might cause this behavior?
Also, if anyone is having problems similar to this, please feel free to post with as much information as you can, and maybe we can mutually find a solution.
