avast antitheft useless after reset

avast anti-theft will still work, even after a factory reset.
That is one of the strong things about the anti-theft.

Eddy, that’s only true with the ROOTED version of the software, provided the user knew enough to SAVE the configuration in the root folders using the Protection Against Reset option. Correct?

Personally, I root all my devices and I only use the rooted version of the Anti-theft. This is the only way to protect against a factory reset.

Unfortunately, I tried to reset my rooted device with avast antitheft, After the reset, I changed the SIM card, no alert was received, I send SMS command, no reply

Though, I still think there could be something missing, however, its better to have enough instruction on steps to take to be 100%sure that the device is secured, I love to use avast because it is currently the best having tried various other…I will appreciate any help in this regards. Thank all!
