I found and installed this from the Windows Store. When you click on the Launch button,
all it does is download the Online Installer. It doesn’t start the install process. You need to do that manually.
IMHO, this App needs to be fixed or removed. In it’s current state it isn’t very helpful.

Open the Windows Store App in windows 10. Then search for avast:

There is no Windows Store app, but as it seems a update has removed it.
Seems to be a known problem.

But besides that, the website store should show it when searched for.

I’m looking for input from Avast. Was this created by them or is it a third party app.
If third party, it isn’t very good. If Avast, it still isn’t very helpful and needs to be fixed or removed.

Guess what…
Got the store back, but can’t enter anything in the search field.
It just doesn’t respond to any key press.

Tried it on another system where the store wasn’t gone (clean installation), same problem.

More bugs for MS to solve.

Well, does seem off to me but I’m seeing a link in there that goes to avast: See first attached below.

Second attachment captures what you and Midnight posted earlier.

Third attachment is gotten by clicking the live link for avast in the first attachment.

@Eddy,
Microsoft just did an update to Windows 10 for the Store app. Got two of them two days ago, both successful. You’ll need to run Reliability History to see if you’ve got those updates.

[EDIT:] Might be best to run this one by an avast team member?
