I have been working with computers for the past 15 years, never before did i have this issue where you need to completely remove the program from your computer as the only option of closing it.
But i guess it’s only a good thing that you need to uninstall to close it, everything is working again now.
Blah… :o
What was real your problem? Why did you have to uninstall it?
What do you mean by, “where you need to completely remove the program from your computer as the only option of closing it.”
Are you trying to close or disable it so it doesn’t run, as it has self-defence to prevent this ?
That is the whole point of resident protection, so it can’t be easily disabled by malware.
I guess, you mean ‘can’t’…!?

Haters… no offense but… are this people serious?
If you don’t like it, just uninstall and install a new one… you don’t have to come here to tell lies.
Even though that’s a true, you can always try to get a solution here on forum with our Evangelists and Avast! team… you don’t have the need to go all mad… sheez.
No offense…
this guy doesn’t make any sense. just ignore…
Well if they were serious about about finding out why, then no doubt they would have responded to our posts/questions and we could have helped.
So their 15 years of computer experience seems not to have taught him anything about fault finding or finding a resolution, if they are going to give up at the drop of a hat.
Until we get that response from the OP there is no point in posting anything else, if they are serious about getting help they would have been back.
