What is the difference between;

  • avast! antivirus Mac + PC
    and
  • avast! antivirus Mac

Does the Mac + PC have installation for a Windows computer and a OS X computer?
And why is the cost only about £6 more than avast! antivirus Mac?

(Both being 1 Year licenses)

I’m not sure, but I’ll take a stab at it.

Maybe it’s for people that have Intel Mac computers, and dual-boot their computers with windows as well?

That way, both OSes will have avast protection.

Simply put its a bundle of 1 avast for Mac license and 1 avast professional license for windows. For those who dual boot their intel mac or those who have both a mac and a pc
