avast! antivirus setup: incorrect date?

Hi- ???

Every time that I try to do a virus scan or update avast! (which I downloaded about a month ago, and have only done the beginning scan of my computer), I get a message that says "the license key for this product has been temporarily disabled

  • you system time/date have changed (which they haven’t); fix it and enter the license key again.
    I don’t know what to do, because the time and date are correct on my computer. what do you suggest?

If your system time and date are really corrected, I suggest an installation from the scratch:

  1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
  2. Boot.
  3. Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall and use it for complete uninstallation.
  4. Boot.
  5. Install again the latest avast! version.
  6. Boot.
  7. Check and post the results.
