wath is your suggestion regarding the use of AntiSpy SW along with AV and FW?
At present i’m running SpySweeper with SpywareBlaster.
Plus Avast! & ZoneAlarm.

Anti-spyware is as essential as a firewall and antivirus.
Spyware Guard is an excellent compliment to Spyware Blaster and also is freeware. SG runs resident and offers nice protection.
AntiSpy: SpyBot + SpywareBlaster + Lavasoft Ad-aware
Antivirus: avast 
Antivirus backup (non-resident): AVG, AntiVir, BitDefender (all freeware versions)
Firewall: Outpost (+ internal Windows XP SP2 one)

Hello,
yes, I know all these applications and I was running them, but after last program update of SpySweeper some troubles start.
Ad-aware is not resident and it was not giving any trouble but Spybot and SG both have IE download protection and probabily conflict with SpySweeper.
Plus, Ad-Aware and Spybot are not able to find wath SpySweeper is getting…
Now i’ve install again SG but disable the download and browser hijack protections…
Avast! is not giving any trouble and I’m using it from last six months.

Don’t use two firewall’s at the same time!
I won’t be so self confident about the strengh of SpySweeper on handling them.
A lot of them could be ‘false positives’, i.e., not really spywares but what SpySweeper thinks that is a spyware.
Pest Patrol was a good application in the past, now tons of false positives.
The user think that more and more is being detected but, in fact, errors and legitimate files are being ‘deleted’ by these applications.
