I got an Avast popup warning me about an email (no subject) – I “told” avast that the email was OK, but the email disappeared. (MS Outlook, WinXP)
I checked my inbox, junk mail and deleted folders, and looked at the log and chest but can’t find it.
Any thoughts appreciated
Have you had a look in Outlook\Exchange settings? May be you have pointed some folder in Virus Storing?
It probably did eat your email.
We cannot know for sure what you responded, but there are only two choices. One overrides the avast warning and places the message where Outlook would normally place it (typically your Inbox) - avast does not direct the placement of the email message - the other option is to cast the email into outer darkness from which it shall never be retrieved.
It seems you made the latter choice.
