Hello guys, two months ago I ordered a free 60day trial of avast and yesterday after expiration it was auto-renewed for 59,99€. I checked the emails but did not find any even in spam, maybe its my problem, i have no idea but thats not that important… Important is that I was not aware of this renewal, I must have missed it when i ordered the trial I already submitted a ticket #817114 about it, but I wanted to ask you guys if anyone had such issue and if it was solved positively or not by avast support I made a mistake and I need the money too much… Can someone help me ? Thank you
Thanks for the reply Eddy, I searched for this topic before, but did not find if it was actually solved for the people or not, it usually ends when the support employee say that he will look into the ticket I read that they do refunds within 30 days from the purchase, but does it actually count from the date i ordered the rial version and unknowingly accepted the full version renewal(which was 17.3. 2017) or does it count from the date the actual order was made and from which i have an invoice, which was tomorrow?
Thanks
Things are solved, but people just don’t post back here if it is.
The 30 days start at the date of the purchase.
The trial period has nothing to do with it.
Think about it, it would be very strange if avast would give a refund for something that was never paid/is free
It is reasonable indeed, that the 30 day warranty starts counting from the date the actual payment was made, but on my order history on avast site it says the order was made on 17.3., same as the trial version. Apparently it took it as order back in march when i ordered the 60day trial, only the money transfer was made after the trial ended(yesterday)… hopefully i make sense
Does anyone know how long it usually takes Avast to respond on a ticket? I know that they have 30 days or something like that to do so, but how long realistically should it take?
So, the request was settled up by the support, the money got back on my paypal. I am really satisfied how they handled the request. Thank you for helping me too guys
