Avast! it’s not working enymore, de auto update, and de manual update virus data, and I go to uninstall in the Control Panel, and the same , how i can fixed?
What is your firewall ?
Does it allow avast.setup internet access ?
- If it does delete the entry for it and do a manual update, this will force the firewall to ask permission again.
Also, check your computer date and time are correct.

Try this.
Go to “add/remove programs” in the control panel, select Avast, click “change/remove”, and select “repair”.
Any other security software?
What AV was installed before Avast. How long ago?
