Avast Auto Update may not be working!

The last few days I have noticed that auto update was not working. When it was, it gave me a visual and audio reminder that said ( Virus database has been updated ). When I do it manually, it seems that it does update. Checked everything and automatic update is on. Any others with this same problem? What do I check to make sure it will work?

Try to open avast settings - Update (Connections), press Proxy button, and select Direct connection, press OK to confirm. Then try to start iAVS update manually again.
