Do I need to disable Avast when defragmenting hard disk? Can it cause any problems? I use Windows 7 and it defragments my disks automatically…

There is no need to disable avast! during Windows 7 ‘Disk Defragmenter’ operation.
DD’s activity is invisible to the ‘working’ OS.
