What I like about avast! is that it has a program update checker so you no longer have to worry about running outdated apps and go around manually looking for updates which ESET’s NOD32 doesn’t have. It also has a built in website tracking blocker which again, NOD32 doesn’t have
I like the features, I like the GUI
But just because I’ve used NOD32 for more than 7 years in the past, I am asking this question to you guys maybe someone may shed some light on something I may have not known.
avast! also feels very light, I am torn between the two to be honest
Sometime it’s best to follow what your gut is already telling you, I personally don’t ask for opinions from others regarding matters such as what you are asking as the only true judgement can come from your own personal testing and making sure the product suites your needs.
The other point, since avast 2014 was just released yesterday, there would be no comparison on AV-Comparatives that used avast 2014. So there can be no direct comparison.
