Avast based on mbam technology?

I know the anti-rootkit in avast 4.8 is based on gmer technology.I was wondering if alwil have any plan to make the built in anti-spyware based on mbam technology.I find avast a little weak against rogue and mbam is really good at handling rogue.Just my thoughts :stuck_out_tongue:

All the avast elements are in-house products and I don’t see this changing any time soon.

No single application will give 100% protection avast and MBAM or other security products are no different in that regard either and that is why I practice a multi-application approach to system security.

Thanks for your response david.I know that no application will detect 100% of malware out there but I still think alwil should consider my suggestion.

Well what makes you think that malwarebytes might be interested it the proposition either ;D

I don’t know but they will definitely be happy when they are working with a big company like alwil

Why don’t you suggest it over at malwarebytes forum?
