Behavior shield will not activate, starts up a second then goes back off, then try to turn on again goes back off, figured i’d report this as Monday April 30th, Windows 10 April Update Releases for Manual update for folks that want to, then May 8th for everyone else for first wave of machines that can get the new update
When Final Build is clean installed on Monday April 30th, i’ll test it also on my Windows 10 Pro Main Desktop, Hopefully solved or resolves itself—as would like to continue using Avast, as while Defender is ok, sometimes its so slow at scanning or doing thing
i have same type of problem after win10 update on 26th or 27th, so 1 or 2 days ago.
it says 1 component not active, it is however in active state in UI/settings (as in atleast selected to be active)
when i check services.msc its up and running.
i have updated and rebooted everything many times, and windows error reporting doesnt show any related errors.
but UI reported it as not running, i accidentally selected skip now and dont show again (dont know how to revert the selection, i would like to)
currently im only able to check if the problem is still present by right clicking the “system bar” avast icon, and in the section of where u can disable and enable protection it still shows 1 component not running.
so few details, since your gonna ask anyway
