Yeah I have the same idea about it… settings should not change this. However, it might be one of the possible cause of this “lag” behind updates (read: changing update interval).

Going to repair after checking once more if it auto-updates.

VPS update intervals are irrelevant. We have Streaming Updates which are delivered what, every 3 minutes? It just doesn’t matter anymore for regular VPS updates.

VPS updates are also used to push small software updates.

Greetz, Red.

Could be, could be. I just wanted to share more info on my settings  Sometimes it may give developers clue (for example:if changing interval indeed breaks updates). Otherwise I would just “whine” without providing any meaningful information. At least that’s what I think. It’s always good to provide changes you’ve made to the settings.

Anyways, made complete reinstall and now it seems to work.

Mine is set for 120 and no problems with updates.

I’m not going to be a happy camper if the same antiransomware protection that is in AIS and Premier doesn’t make it into the Pro version. I have Pro and cannot test it. Not good.

Since the Ransomware Protection isn’t available in the free version of Avast, why is it installed ???
Is there any reason not to uninstall this component ???

OK… what should I do? ;D

…and it says “AVG Detection” instead of Avast ;D

Update, Today this changed:

I was able to turn it ON and as you can see clicking on the On/Off icon reveals some options.

Haven’t we seen this before, beta testers getting functions only in paid versions, so more people would be beta testing, if only those paid users would be beta testing said components.
