Avast Blacklist option has disapeared in Outlook

I had a section in my Outlook mail that allowed me to Blacklist, Whitelist or say Not Spam which to me was very useful. All of a sudden it is gone and I can’t find how to reactivate that option. It is some extension (I assume) that gets linked into my Outlook 2010. I am running Avast Premier (the up to date copy) on my Windows 10 PC.

How can I reactive that Avast Blacklist feature into my Outlook 2010? ???

  • Which version of Premier…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Premier version 18.2.2328 (Build 18.2.3827.304)
Virus Definition 180310-0
Windows Home Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299 64 Bit
No other security software installed
I had been using Avast IS for about 10 years when I switched to Premier a year or so ago but I really don’t see any real advantage to Premier over the Internet Security. I think I’d really prefer switching back to AIS.

Is AntiSpam installed…??

So far, nothing has worked. The strange part is when my Wife opens her email, the Avast tab shows. But it won’t for me no matter what I try. I’ve tried Avast repair and it makes no difference. I’ve tried exporting my Wife’s Ribbon Customization file and importing into my copy of Outlook, no luck with that either.

Seeing as the Avast Anti Virus is in my Wife’s copy of Outlook, I must assume Avast is working okay and the problem lies with Outlook instead. :o Now all I need to do is find someone more versed in Outlook than I am. Thanks for your assist.

Ah, Ha! More searching has helped in that I found in my Wife’s Outlook Add-Ins there is one entry that I cannot get to work for me. It is the file “C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\asOutExt.dll” which in the Outlook addins dialog it is listed as “Avast Addin”. However, whenever I try to add this to my Addin dialog, it will not do so. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I don’t use Outlook, wait for another helper or contact support.
