This is one I cannot find any resolution to.
I installed Avast Premiere on a client network and for the most part, all is working right.
One computer, which has Intuit Quickbooks connection on a local server, sees it’s local network access cut off on a daily basis. Stopping Avast restore the connection every time.
I tried to add the local network as a friendly network but it gets removed somehow.
The user comes in the morning after I “Fixed” the connection and starts working with INtuit and the local server…
All is fine for a while when all of a sudden, the connection to the server is cut off.
The user disable Avast and the connection comes back
When I check the logs, I see nothing else than Windows complaining it lost connection to the domain controller (same server where Intuit is installed.)
I check the Friends network which I added the previous night and it is gone.
Tonight I am trying something else.
I disable the Avast Secure DNS and Firewall.
I will see the results tomorrow but this is getting really annoying. Especially since I cannot find any clue as to what and why is happening
Any Idea?
