Hi, seems that Avast is blocking the opening of PDF files, not all
If I disable Avast I can read them normally
I put Acrobat in the Allowed Applications, but I can’t open some pdf
Any solution, and why?

Is there a pop-up block message from avast ?
No just that can’t be open, if I disable it there is no problem … and this only with some pdf
What is so different about the ones that don’t open, size, etc.
Something else is going on as Avast doesn’t just block, it alerts.
There really shouldn’t be a block on a few. I haven’t had Avast block any .pdf files and I have used lots.
Also other questions to guide :
It happen with pasword-protected PDF?
It happen with PDF with other files embeded?
Does anyone have a solution yet?
I care about PDF files a million times more than what Avast has to offer. I regret buying it now.
You no replied to my questions
1 - It happen with password protected pdf?
2 - It happen with pdf with files attached?
And now also to try:
You tried another pdf reader?
Well, in the first instance, Avast doesn’t know the password and thus would mark that pdf file as “suspicious” because it cannot open the file (it cannot know the password) and inspect it for malware.
This is important information not provided by you earlier in your original thread.
In the second instance, Avast may regard a pdf with attached files as also being suspicious, or worse, but again we cannot know what you see unless you post this information.
Suspicious or infected are two very different interpretations of a files cleanliness or malware state.
Attaching the actual virus alert will help us help you.
