I am using windows 10 and the free version of avast with the 60 days free upgrade
My question is if i have a file that i know the AV will catch as viral but isnt ( a .dll injection type deal that ive used safely for a long time ) how do i tell it to ignore usually with other av ive used i just select an option when i restore the file to ignore it but i only see restore , restore as , and delete so i googled how to ignore a folder and i added it in menu → settings → Components → File shield but it still get detected when i try to run it so i was hopeing someone who has used avast longer then my 3days could tel me how to make avast ignore a particular file or folder for all detection purposes ?
I am not concerned about the file i know why it is triggering AV it will always Trigger any AV system as it is a program/file designed to inject info into another file and this will always get a positive my question is almost all av have a way to tell it to ignore a file or folder and thats what i am looking for
