avast blocking firefox 6 64 bit

hi avast shields are blocking firefox 6 but ive been using firefox 6 nightly for a few weeks but a update to firefox know it wont start but if i dis-able avast sheilds it works great

What are you talking about?! Firefox 6 isnt released… version 4 was released recently…

@hangdawg… Can you plz tell us which firewall u r using wats the firefox version and any other security program previously installed???

@the OP: the blocking has nothing to do with FF6 + Avast, it’s a purely Avast issue (when it happens), attempt a repair or a re-install of Avast + get rid of any other security sofwtare that you may have.

hi  i  un-installed avast then re-installed it  still have the same problem  heres  the firefox  version

  http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/8994/snap20110426101008001.png       the only way to use firefox is to dis-able the avast sheilds  when the avast sheilds are off firefox loads and works like it should do you have anymore ideas  as id hate to use a different anti-virus i  tried avira after un-installing  avast and firefox works works perfect  but i dont like avira    thanks

hi i solved my own problem it was the behavioral shield causing it so i went into settings and excluded it works fine now thanks
